The Institute for Digital Molecular Analytics and Science (IDMxS) is extremely proud to receive the bronze award in the NTU Safety and Health Awards 2024. This is the first time IDMxS has participated in the awards scheme and to receive a bronze award shows the strong commitment to health and safety by the leadership team in IDMxS.
Safety and Health Initiatives
At IDMxS, safety and health is a top priority, and various initiatives have been implemented to ensure a safe workplace.
Key activities include:
A) To enhance safety and health awareness, IDMxS hosts weekly lunch with safety and health video sessions every Wednesday, covering topics like laboratory safety, emergency protocols, and workplace best practices.
B) IDMxS equips staff and researchers with spill response training, ensuring they can handle hazardous materials safely and follow proper emergency procedures.
C) IDMxS organizes various talks on mental health for example “Introduction to Mindfulness as an Approach to Stress Management,”
