We are pleased to share that Dr Wee Soon Keong, Research Fellow at IDMxS, has been selected as a Mentor in the prestigious American Society for Microbiology (ASM) Future Leaders Mentorship Fellowship (FLMF) program. ASM is the world’s largest professional society for microbiologists, with over 37,000 members spanning academia, industry, and clinical sectors.
The ASM FLMF is a 2-year online program that that pairs graduate students in microbial sciences with expert mentors to support leadership development, mentoring experience and professional networking. As a mentor, Dr Wee will provide guidance to PhD and MSc students globally, supporting their academic and professional development.
This appointment highlights Dr Wee’s expertise in the microbial sciences and his commitment to nurturing the next generation of scientists. It also reflects the growing global impact of the research and mentorship culture at IDMxS.
